Tuesday’s Tails Blog Hop: Golden Kitty

20 Aug

So glad you are joining me today for the Dogs N Pawz Blog Hop called Tuesday’s Tails!  New posts go up on Tuesday but you can link up and post when you want all week-long.  The whole purpose is to feature cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, etc. so when you link up is up to you!  Even pets from PetFinder, are fine.  Let’s just get them all homes!

Dogs N Pawz said “I also want to encourage all of you to share each other’s Tuesday’s Tails posts on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and whatever other social media channels you use.  The more we share the more likely we are to get the word out!”

Let’s hop to it!  Today we are featuring Kitty.  How any one can give up a 12-year-old is so sad to me, but maybe her owners were old or sick or could not care for her.  She has a lot of living left to do.  Please consider her.

Tuesday’s Tails pets can all be found at the Anne Arundel County Animal Control. For more information please call (410) 222-8900 (this is Annapolis, Maryland, USA).

I will never understand how people can give up an older pet. Unless of course the owner is ill or passed away, still you’d think someone could step up for them.

Thanks for sharing!! We hope she finds a loving home soon.

That was my first thought too, who spend 12 years with a kitty and gives her up? But you’re right, sometimes bad things can happen to the best people. I hope Kitty II will find a good home – I think it’s a cool name it sounds like the ship Queen Mary II :o)

My former shelter pulls mostly adult, senior and special need cats from the animal control kill shelter. We see seniors abandoned all the time, often just because the family doesn’t want to pay for vet bills, OR the human died and the family won’t help the kitty like sweet Miss Kitty who had been with her human Dad for over a year, he passed unexpectedly and none of his kids or friends would take Miss Kitty so she is back with my former shelter. One 90 year old gentleman was crying his eyes out when he had to surrender his 3 precious 13 year old kitties as he was going to a home and no family would care for them. I just joined this blog hop with my Tuesday Tales about my new Paw It Forward Project. Thank you for doing all you do. Paw Pat,s Svannah
