What is it about a nice sunbeam that makes an animal want to stretch out and go to sleep. Wherever there is sun streaming in my house there is an animal in the line. My house faces the south, so the sun is in the front most of the day. I try to leave the front door open and let the animals look out at the street and also lie in the sun that comes through the big glass screen door. Noel, the Christmas Cat, is a very big sun worshiper. Most of the day she is next to me while I am working lying in her bed under my office window (in the sun), and then she moves to the kitchen for a while, or to the front door, if there are no dogs around. Ah, the lesson that Noel has to teach. Grab a sunbeam whenever you can. Thanks, NoNo.
Just another sunny dogdaz morning at the zoo ❤

Thanks Tiffy, Noel is our white beauty. She is now the alpha cat in the pack and has become a wonderful leader. – DogDaz

It is true in our house too. On these nice spring days Sampson likes to go outside and lie in the sun out there. We all should take the time to ‘catch a sunbeam.’

Noel is a smart girl. There’s NOTHING like a warm sunny patch of floor. Way to go, NoNo!

Great shots! My cats do the same thing, and they love being on the warm tile in the sun!
