Black cats and dogs are mistreated a lot on Halloween (Oct 31). Please keep your black cat inside tonight and make sure you know where she/he is. Humans are stupid and they are really stupid when they are in costumes for some reason. Protect your black animals from mistreatment. A black cat that crosses your path means…. it is only trying to get somewhere. It is not a curse. Keep them safe.

One of my babies is a calico/tordishell kitty – black and orange – so we are especially careful to keep her inside tonight. My husband thinks I go overboard ensuring she is in, but I would much rather be safe than sorry.

It is horrific that black cats are abused. We have a small black kitty that a neighbor lets run all over the place. I am asking her to keep her inside since she is tiny and very friendly-which may not be to her advantage.
