7.15.13 Monday Mischief: Don’t Feed the Alligators

15 Jul

For the whole week in North Carolina, K8 was watching the stream behind our rented condo (on a very nice golf course) for any signs of the alligators.  There were signs everywhere that said “Please don’t feed the alligators, they get aggressive,” so we figured they were there somewhere.  The last morning, as we were packing up in the pouring rain, he (or she) finally popped his head up to say goodbye.  K8 ran around to the back to snap this shot on her iphone.

Good bye, Alligator.  Thanks for coming to see us off.

Oh what fun! Alligators are so primeval. And they love small dogs and cats.

Heck no, never feed the ‘gators! Since all our fresh water has gators we are very vigilant and make sure to keep our distance
