While this is my first furless Christmas in 19 years, I will still enjoy it, because I enjoy the moment, like my cats did. And I like the festival of light each year – during the darkest time of it. No matter if it is Christmas – or Hanukah or Divali. Important is that there is some community, some light and some promise days will get lighter again. And – a lot of eating 😉
My friend was in Australia one year, and her darkest season was without a festival of light – in our summer – their winter. That was hard, she said. So I am grateful, we have something bringing joy when nature is all doom and gloom around us.

I hope you can share some holiday time with some fur friends, even if they don’t live in your house. Yes finding the light in the darkness is important. Have a wonderful holiday.
