Nine loves his solar buddy that reacts to sun. I call it the ‘happy flower’ because it dances back and forth during the day.
You might notice the worn away window sill from Sofie and Louise always jumping up and trying to look out the kitchen window. Sofie’s head just makes it to see over the ledge.
There is always a cat in this window.
I never saw Nine, or any cat for that matter, cuddle the happy flower before.
Peanut took the pictures. She is off to college today for her junior year. We all will miss her. Nine will no longer be trapped in her room for hours and dig up the carpet by her door when he can’t get out.

Muffy & Gertrude on my desk
Both Gertrude and The Muffin Man (aka Muffy) are gone (picture from 2011), but sometimes, when I look to my left from my computer, out of the corner of my eye it seems like they are still there under the window. But alas! They are not, it is just a wisp of cat hair floating by.
I can not imagine a life without cats!

We have 3 tanks in the house. Each one seems to hold a different fascination for Mr. Nine. This is the kitchen tank and it is easy to sit on the counter and watch the fish swim by. Also, the pump is pretty strong so their is a lot of current which makes for a lot of activity. I have found him trying to get into the tanks every once and a while. Not sure what he would do if he actually did. Neither Noel nor Stella hold much interest in the fish.

I was remembering those 5 cat Saturday mornings back in 2012.
If you tried to sleep late, everyone would make sure you got up anyway.
(Yes I know it is blurry, but you try to take a picture of 5 cats that are always moving.)
Gosh, I miss The Muffin Man (Muffy) and Miss Constance Kitty.
Nine and Stella were still kittens back then (look how small he was :-))

When we dropped off our little doggie transport the other day, there was a Scottish Fold welcoming committee. Oh yeah! I would definitely want to meet that guy on a bad day. Hahahahha.
