For some reason Louise can’t get use to Ry being home from school. She growls and barks whenever he comes down the hall. She is OK with some people but not with others. When you rescue, you don’t know a lot about the animal’s beginnings. Lulu was rescued at 4 months old. She had a flea collar embedded in her neck and terrible dry mange. Louise & her sister, Thelma, were rescued out of the trunk of a car in North Carolina from some guys who were taking them to be killed. I figure her Mom, maybe a hunting dog, got knocked up and gave birth in a barn. Maybe some guys put flea collars on the pups and threw some food at them but did not interact, because she is socialized to animals but not people, and definitely not to males. She is so much better then she was when she first came & she trusts more everyday. Fearful dogs are a challenge but Lulu is a sweetie & a wonderful girl. I am blessed. But I do wish she would stop barking at Ry. Just another dogdaz afternoon.
