3.11.13 Monday Mischief: Is It Spring Forward, Fall Back?

11 Mar

Waiting for springLouise and Sofie were waiting in the yard for spring yesterday.  Maybe it was because the clocks changed here in the United States for Day Light savings time.

Something caught there attention beyond the fence because they were both transfixed  for a long time.  Maybe it was spring coming over the hill?

When daylight savings time changes for spring, it changes human’s mood for the better; the animals, I don’t think they really care.

How does Day Light Savings time effect you?

I like it when it’s more light in the morning, but I can’t handle the switching time. It costs me almost 4 month untill I’m in my rythm again. Little Binky has a built-in clock, so she’ll ask one hour earlier for food. I’m already preparing for the switching time at the end of the month 🙂

The spring forward actually goes ok for the animals, it is the fall back that really goofs us all up.

We used to wait and then the last president got impatient and make the time change earlier. LOL

The dogs usually stare at something, the cats on the other hand definitely see ghosts, I think. Car clocks are tricky. That is why I leave the manual in the glove box.

It’s been a little rough for me with this time change. My inner pig clock is all off. I didn’t even wake mom up this morning. SHE had to wake me up for breakfast. Shivers – this time change thing stinks. XOXO – Bacon

Oh so sorry Bacon. I understand why they do this silly artificial clock thing anyway.

If it was squirrel, Sofie would not be sitting, but good guess. When spring gets here we will send him/her your way. 🙂

The only thing I lose track of during DST is if it is dinner time or not. To be sure I do not miss it, I just park myself in front of the pantry all afternoon.

Its been crazy windy here today – no spring for us!
Our clocks change at the end of the month and I’m dreading it – have to wait an hour extra for dinner
