3.12.13 What Did You Build Today?

12 Mar

nine k8 windowIt is starting to be nice enough to open the windows.  With the bathroom window open, Nine, the Mancat, decided it was the purrfect place for his afternoon siesta.  K8 caught him enjoying the moment.  It get’s harder and harder to resist taking a break and going out to see the buds on the trees and the birds busy with their nesting.  Ever day now the mailbox (which got bashed by some kid’s with a baseball bat last fall, so it does not close) has been full of nesting material.  Today, when I came back from my walk (yes WALK, today was the first time I did my full 1 miler with the girls) there was a fully complete bird’s nest in the box.  How sad, because I had to remove it and set it into the bush next to the box so that the mail carrier could deliver the mail.  I tried to close the broken door to the box so they will build elsewhere, but I am not to successful.  This is so exciting.  I love baby birds.  Good thing that my cats only see them through the windows.

Does spring air make you sleepy?  Does it make you want to go out and build something?

SPRING IS SPRINGING!!!!!

Just another DogDaz morning at the zoo ❤

Lazy cats! I’m liking the warmer weather. It’s easier to get the Mom Person out for long walks!

If only I could squeeze my tiny self onto the window sill. That spring air would be a GREAT place to relax. I have to settle for standing on the arm of the chair and sniffing it out the window. Yay for the mile walk!

    Love and licks,

Louise is tall enough to actually look out the kitchen window when she is on her back legs. Sofie tries but does not get more than her nose up to that level. Make sure the chair does not have wheels when you stand on it.

Spring is springing up! So exciting! Such an adorable pic of your cat! Wish I was able to relax in a windowsill like that as well! 🙂

Congrats on your first miler with the dogs! What a lovely milestone. When spring springs here, I am sure I will be full of energy and want to go build something! (However, it’s not quite warm enough here in Iowa!) Make it a fantastic day at the zoo!

The door of our mailbox was damaged too – but mom fixed it with two bolts. Now our mailbox is closed for all eternity and we have a p.o. box – otherwise we would get no mail LOL

Heheheheh – That maybe what we have to do and give the box to the birds.

Spring is pure joy for the allergies free people like me.
So nice to get back walking with the beasts, Doggy is really unhappy this week, it’s been raining non stop so our walks have been reduced to less than half.

I really miss having a cat. Sometimes I wonder how Wonderbutt would get along with one…
