What is that I smell? There is something different down here by the water. FIRE! I smell a fire. Mommy says that I should stay away from fire. I like the smell though. When Mommy was a little girl her house burned down, so she does not like the smell at all. She worries at the slightest burning smell.
Wait! We don’t have a fire pit by the water. That was the Horse Shoe game pit. Someone burned stuff in the game pit. And there is also glass in there; someone smashed a bottle. This looks pretty dangerous. Why don’t people take care of things? Especially in a shared place like the private neighborhood waterfront. This makes us all sad.
We will stay away from the smokey smell and the glass Mom. But can we go into the river now? (Mom Note: Which Sofie did immediately following, without asking, but I was so glad she left the pit alone so I let it go.)
This is a blog hop. I hopped it from Snoopy’s DogBlog. Check them out for more mischief.
Just another DogDaz morning at the zoo ❤

Oh my… I also get worried at the slightest smell of something burning. I didn’t know you guys lived by the waterfront! How cool!

That must have been terrifying for you. I am always bounding out of bed in the middle of the night sniffing harder than the dogs when I think I can smell something!

Fires and glass are too dangerous! Sometimes people are very inconsiderate. And stupid!! You are good girls to do what Mom says. She will always keep you safe.

Thanks Cuppy. We try to listen. I listen better than Louise who has this distraction thing going on all the time, especially down by the water. – Sofie Bear

Snowing right now – our first big snow waited until March 25. She would swim anyway. LOL

We had a fire in my crib in 2009 too – so this mell is like an alarm signal for us too. Why this people have to ruin those things? Are they imported from the neander valley?

In your crib, as in bed. Scary. People are stupid and sad.

I’m glad you stayed away from the glass buddy – I hope you had fun in the river 🙂 What’s the point in asking when you know your Mom will say yes anyway! 🙂
