Gertrude was my wonderful long haired calico. She and I had a very close relationship for over 17 years. She passed over the bridge in 2007. I miss her quiet, funny way. I don’t have any long hairs in the zoo currently.
K8 took this picture when she was learning photography in high school. It was a real dark room development project. I just love it.
I can not imagine a life without cats. Happy Caturday.
Just another CATDogDaz morning at the zoo ❤

Thank you. Over the years, I have had 30 animals share my heart. I am so lucky.

Maybe so. She was spooky quiet when she was young and her sister, Alice, was around, who was much louder. When Alice passed, Gerty became much more present and vocal.
