The weather has turned incredibly beautiful. The air is clear and the temperature is in the 60s. We love to run around and now we are really thirsty. Mommy says we can’t drink the river water because it is not good for our tummies. Pant, pant, pant… “Mom you better start carrying our water bottle with you when we come down to the dock!”.

Your mom is right, the river water is not really tasty, imagine that all the fishies pee there (that explains the water in rivers, I think).

Thanks Bailey. The water is on our daily route and is our fav place in the whole neighborhood (except maybe for Amy or Mojo’s backyards).

Yes, Savannah, it is a real bummer. No swimming or drinking. The Chesapeake Bay and it’s rivers are dying. Someday, Mommy hopes that people upstream will stop polluting the water and that non-native bad things will stop coming into the waters on foreign freighters and killing all our local species. 😦

OMC!!! Mom L spent a short weekend around the CB. Long ago…maybe like 15 years??? Who knew? That is one large body of water and to think that it undrinkable for woofies…shaking head…what a world we have not been mindful of …just a thought
