In the United States yesterday we entered our winter time change by rolling back the clock 1 hour. “Fall back, spring forward.” Since Mommy walks us when she gets home from the office, many days it will be dark in the winter months. So she bought us both these reflective vest. She says “now cars can see you when we are walking.” I understand why Louise needs one because she is black, like the night, but me, that is just silly. Mommy really should have one for herself, come to think of it, because she is always dressed in black and the cars may hit her first before they ever see us. We also got to use our vests for Halloween when we dressed up as school crossing guards. My vest is kind of tight but Mommy pulls it to fit on my tummy. We are ready for walks in the daylight again and winter hasn’t even started yet. – Your reflective blond friend – Sofie Bear

Those reflective vests are a great idea. Our hooman almost tripped over a collie on her way home from work last wheek because it was so dark she didn’t see him until he was right in front of her!

Oh my, tripping over a collie could be very dangerous. Glad she is ok.

It’s always better to be glowing than not glowing, S. Mom carries a flashlight when we go out in the dark. It’s less for people to see me and more so she can see if I’m eating anything naughty from the ground.
Love and licks,

Mom uses a flash light too. We just can’t sneak anything by them, can we?

We have a set of those vests too, but usually Mom is the only one that wears one, we don’t like wearing things like that because it feels funny.

Since I wake at 430 AM it was weird today when the sun came up so early, but then it sadly set very early too.

Such a smart idea – will have to look into that for Harley. I rarely walk late at night but there are those days when you must! Thanks

Those vests are a really good idea to keep you out of mischief on your walks. I had a little flashing reflector type thing to attach to my dog’s collar, but it was sometimes covered by his fur.
