Mom made us a space too, but it just did not smell right. She walks us in the sludge in the street, but it just doesn’t smell right. We want our grass back!!

I did not mean to make you sad with my last comment. When my pawsisters passed away I would not use our dog run. It took my pawless parents a week to figure out they need to rake and replace the wood chips. The smells reminded me of what I lost. Sometimes pawless parents need to come down to our level to understand.. In the snow many times there are no smells. That can be weird for us. Sorry I made you frown

No worries. I am sad for pups because they are so challenged by the snow. They cats and I have indoor plumbing. I like the wood chip idea.

That was only day 1. It still snowed for another 24 hours. We were lucky, it was only about 24 inches when it stopped by us. Others were not so lucky.
