Noel, the Christmas Cat, here, representing the Zoo. Mom had surgery on her foot yesterday and can’t walk for awhile. This is very disruptive to the Zoo since she is our everything. She feeds us, walks the dogs, plays with us, combs us, and gives us her lap and lots of cuddles. The only good thing is that the big dogs have gone away for awhile. This would normally be great news because when they are gone I get to spend more cuddle time with Mom, except right now she doesn’t want to play. She doesn’t want to cuddle. She just wants to be left alone to moan.
Though Mom will be laid up for 8 weeks, she told me to tell you that she gets bored very easy and plans to start blogging lying down as soon as she can. So, we will be right back. Until then Mom has a new friend she calls ‘Luke Knee Walker.’ We find him a bit scary but she seems to depend on him for everything right now.
I cannot imagine a life without cats!

Mom and I said prayers, so your mom will get well soon. When my mom had knee surgery, she had a cane. I wasn’t afraid of it, but I had to learn to walk really slow for a while. I’m sure your mom will only moan for a little while. Then your cuddles will heal her the rest of the way. xo

V is feeding the Zoo. Not as punctual as Mom but V forgets how much and gives us double.
