Caturday: No Longer Inseparable

I remember when these 2 were inseparable. Now it is a rare moment to find them actually touching. It used to be wherever you would find Nine, Mini would be. It is so interesting how the dynamics change over the years.

Caturday: My Chair!

Noel took over my recliner several months ago. She has been very happy to sleep in it most of the day and night. But, recently, Mini Cooper discovered that it is a very comfy place to nap; to the dismay of Queen Noel. So, Noel sits there and stares at Mini for what seems like hours, hoping that her laser beam will make the perpetrator evacuate the seat.

Finally, Noel realized that Mini was not moving, so she tried PLAN B. She sat on her. But that didn’t get Mini to move either. So that evening, for the first time ever, Noel and Mini slept together on my chair.

I cannot imagine a life without cats!

For some reason, Nine has been visiting every window in the house and staring out lately. I think he is waiting for something. Did he order something on Amazon that I don’t know about?

Caturday: Catmas Past

Noel was almost 2 back then (she is 14 now).

Zack and Cuddles (our Russian Blue twins) and Miss Constance Kitty (the funniest cat ever at the zoo) have been over the bridge for many years now. But we remember every cat with great fondness. Especially at Catmas.

I cannot imagine a life without cats!

Caturday: The Vet – Again

11 Dec

Because Mom didn’t already have enough medical stuff going on with Louise’s tumor surgery, I added a bloody eye for a few days to freak her out. Drat! She made me go to that Vet lady again. I was just there a few weeks ago for a claw that Mom could not cut that was turning into my pad. Oh no!I was not happy about this and made it really hard for Mom to get me into the ‘cage of torture!’ I hid under the bed and every time Mom went to grab me I moved to the other side (see how smart I am). But, somehow she tricked me, and whoosh! she got me in the cage.

The good news is that the eyeball was actually OK. It was external from a recent fight with either Nine or Mini. Mom said she is tired of all these trips to the vet and told us to stop all this foolishness. Well, he started it!

I cannot imagine a life without cats!

Caturday: 13

Noel, the Christmas cat here. Let’s talk about stupid siblings today. I have no idea why my siblings, Mini Cooper and Nine, have to get as high up on things as they possibly can. I know the dogs told you that Mom had the carpet cleaned. Well, everything was piled up on the table. Then I looked over and Mini was on top of a whole tower of things on the dining room table trying to get the bell hanging from the ceiling fan.

 

Luckily, she didn’t come crashing down and bring the fan and all the boxes with her.

These kids! You just never know what trouble they are going to get into.

I cannot imagine a life without cats!
