Mr. Charles, the Mugwump, Little is 10 years young today. Though you have only been with us for 2 1/2 years, you have become an integral part of the Zoo. I still don’t understand how we are your 5th home – we are so glad that you rescued us and that you are with us forever and ever.
Well, almost everyone… Sofie.

When you are this handsome you just have to let other people admire you from afar, you know what I mean? I look pretty dapper when I go to the barber. Sorry, girls, I already have a harem of beauties.

We hope that you have a wonderful holiday. Remember that many animals are afraid of fireworks, so keep everyone indoors and safe.

Peanut has started working from home sometimes when she has a lot of heavy concentration type stuff, like reading long documents, to do. I decided that she should not do that alone. Plus she looks so sad if I don’t help her with all her pens and markers. Dogs are the best reading buddies. I know that Mini Cooper, that pesky cat, thinks that she is a better buddy but I tell her where to ‘get off’ whenever she tries to buddy up to my Peanut. You know what I mean?

On a hot day, there is nothing better than lying down in the sand at the edge of the water.
Until Mom has to take a smelly wet dog home.

Charles here.
I think I told you that Louise and Sofie go on outings without me (Boo Hoo). Mom says that the big dogs sometimes need time with their big dog friends, so I stay home. I still miss them when they are gone and I get really excited when they return.
