It’s amazing how gentle the dog is with the baby – almost as if the baby is its puppy 🙂

Wonderful!!
And this is the breed that has acquired such a bad rap from the humans (and I use the term loosely) that have abused them beyond belief and many counties/cities have now banned them because of the way they were raised. Sorry I will get off my soap box now!

Misty – Don’t get off the soup box ever. We need to keep speaking out. They just found a little pitt boy and named him Rocky Road in Baltimore. His face was so managed and he was so obviously used as a bait dog, that they were going to put him down, but his personality for so incredible, they did surgery and he is now waiting for a forever home. Keep ranting Please!

Thank you, it just makes me so mad what people do to animals and get away with, because I do not believe our laws are strong enough when it comes to animal and child abuse. I have met many of these wonderful dogs and all have been protective yes but so sweet and loving. I think if we do not put a stop to legislature passing laws like breed banning where will it end, just as the USHS is pushing for complete spay and neuter, so basically dogs and cats would eventually become extinct. I say go after the abusers and puppy/cat mills and shut them down.

That dog looks like a good babysitter. No fur pulling captured on tape either. So cute!

We have had 3 rottweilers over the years who are exactly the same with my kids and all the other kids in the neighborhood. They love kids. They watch them, play with them, guard them, and bark if they cry. With all 3 of them – if I raise my voice at the kids they will sit between the kids and me with their back to the kids and their eyes on me. They are protecting the kids from me. How dare I yell at their kids.

Isn’t amazing how these animals take our baby’s as theirs. It is their job to protect and they take it very seriously. When I am stern (because you know I never yell) with the kids or even the other animals, it seems like the dogs try to get in between the object and the negative energy. That is so cool. And you thought they were your kids…. LOL…. Thanks for commenting.
