Louise’s ear infection is back with a vengeance. I feel so bad for her because she tries to scratch her head off. We went to see Dr. Kate to find out what we need to do THIS time. Three different ear drops later, we are starting back on the 2X a day treatment. She is such a good girl and though she hates having me clean her ears, she rolls on her back and lets me do what I have to. Well, this spring is sure starting hard for my babies but they still want to play outside and enjoy eating the fresh sweet grass of spring.

I hope you get on top of Louise’s nasty ear infections. Poor baby. You should give her heaps of yummy treats after each ear session. That can give her something to look forward to 🙂

I hope she gets to feeling better. I have 2 dogs who used to get ear infections. I started cleaning their ears about once a month with OtiCalm. My vet suggested it. Since I have been using it – no one has had an ear infection.

Have tired that, but seems like her left ear is just always getting an infection. I guess some dogs are just prone. Thanks

It makes me miserable to see Henry when he’s not feeling well. You want to help them, explain to them that it’s temporary and the medicine will soon make them feel better, but they don’t know that. My heart goes out to you and Louise. Hope she’s on the mend in no time!

Dr. says if it were allergies it would be both ears and not one. It took me many foods to get to the ID that they are on today. But always open to suggestions.

Does she sleep on that side? If so, maybe not getting enough air in that ear. We had that problem with our Golden. It was off and on his whole life. Where we could, we tried to flip his ears up to get air in them. Sounds stupid, but it helped along with regular cleaning.
