5.28.12 Thank You To Our Military

28 May

On this, our American Memorial day, I wanted to honor the Military Working Dogs, and of course all the active service people and veterans that have protected me and my family and my nation for many years.  Especially remembering my Dad who served honorably in the Army during WWII, and took a bullet so that I could be free to be me.  Thank you very much.  You will never be forgotten.

Wikipedia File PhotoHave you ever thought about adopting a Military dog when they come home?

Just another DogDaz morning at the zoo ❤

I have never heard of military dogs. What work is it that they do?

Thank you – I wish I could tell him – but I am sure he knows from heaven.

Thanks to your dad for his service. I would certainly consider adopting a military dog. They deserve good and loving homes.

Thanks. I never even know that military dog adoption was possible until I did this post. It sure does seem like a great thing to do.

I tip my hat to your Dad for his service to our country! I believe that our loved ones that have passed on are always with us, so I know that your Dad must be very happy that you mentioned him and that thousands of new people know about him and his love for his country!

Absolutely Jessica. I knew he knows and I honor him as I did when he was here to see.
