7.18.12 A Glorious Afternoon

18 Jul

To sit with a dog on a hillside,

on a glorious afternoon,

is to be back in Eden,

where doing nothing was not boring-

it was peace.

– Milan Kundera.

Peanut made me this little picture and quote 3 summers ago, when Squash was in his last summer and Louise in her first. Squashy was totally blind by then and sat wherever I placed him (hence why he is backwards).  He had his summer scissor cut.  This is such a true statement.  There seems to be no greater peace sometimes but to be out in nature, quiet, and serene.

Just another DogDaz morning at the zoo ❤

Such a prefect quote. A both sad and happy group of photos. Boy they can break our hearts

The pictures and quotation are beautiful. I especially like the line, “when doing nothing was not boring” – so true!

My daughter gave me a book of dog quotes for Christmas last year, I just read this one the other day. 🙂 It’s a lovely thought.
