Sunday Morning Swim
The first float for the duck family. This is the real overcast color that day (so it is not really a black and white photo), but it looked so close to a B&W and it was too cute not to publish. Come back tomorrow when I show you who is standing only a few feet away trying desperately to spoil the fun.
I count 8 ducklings – how many do you count?
Happy Sunday!

We have a little duck family that’s been visiting our yard every morning on their way to the lake across the street…It’s been fun watching them grow up

So sweet! I stopped in the road for a mama duck yesterday who only had one duckling – I’m glad yours had better luck!

Maybe the others were still in the nest. Small families are fun too.

It’s so much fun to see the baby ducks. I’m waiting for the quail chicks to show up here.

We have quail all over the area so we sometimes see the baby chicks crossing a road or running along one of my trails.

We live by a lake and we have enjoyed seeing all of the baby ducks and geese lately. Some of them are almost teenagers already.
