Caturday: Have You Seen Our Cat Fence?

13 Sep

Cat fence

I can’t remember if I ever showed you our cat fence.  V and the kids were down in South Carolina (they go every year without me while I work) and there was this really cool metal (and mostly junk) place with some rusted fencing that was 4 cats per panel.  V, being V, came home with only 2 panels.  I love them.  Several years later I went down with the family (there is something to be said for not working sometimes) and found the rest of the panels.  The place was going out of business so I made us buy all of them.  We strapped them to the top of the car and drove hundreds of miles north with cats on the roof.  (And of course there were torrential rains, thunder and lightning on the way home.)  Now V is fixing the rust and painting them yellow.  They don’t keep anyone out of the pool but they look real cool around the garden.  Our next job is to figure out how to keep them in the ground since their feet are just shaped like an upside down ‘Y’s at each end.

I can not imagine a life without cats. Happy Caturday.

Just another CATDogDaz morning at the zoo ❤

Love them ! they look wonderful…perhaps if you cat get some small pots fill them with cement and then stick the ends in..then you can cut the pots away and the bases would be hard enough to dig in the ground and also make a solid base 🙂 hugs Fozziemum xxx

If you look in interesting places, you never know what you might find.

What a fun fence! Can you put a little scoop of cement in the holes to keep it up?
