We spent a long time outside with Mom last weekend doing what she calls, “putting the garden to bed.” Since the garden does not seem to have a kennel that it sleeps in, we were not sure what she meant. But we helped her collect our toys from under the leafy things and chewed down lots of the grasses that were around. Lulu still likes to sun herself by the pool, even though it is closed. We love fall. There are just such wonderful smells and piles to play in.
What mischief did you get into today?

This is a blog hop. I hopped it from Snoopy’s DogBlog. Check them out for more mischief.

How great that your mom had 8 helping paws :o) I like fall too, the air smells like squirrels and rabbits and there are so much leaves I have to chase :o)

You dogs sure seem to always have your nose in the breeze and that must be why.

You girls did good mischief “helping” your mom. I went to a craft show with Mom, but I was afraid of the homemade soaps. Mom gave me lots of cookies to get me past the booth. Weird smells! Yikes!
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Oh yes supposedly 1000lb elephant (or 60 lb dog) won’t get wet. I actually have walked on it (not on purpose) and do get a little wet.

We don’t have a garden, so for us it means ripping the flowers out of the pots and putting them in a big brown bag for the garbage man to pick up. It takes about 10 mins total to do.

Romping through the leaves is the best, no matter what species you are.

Our garden has been put to bed, too. Cairo and Siren “helped” by pulling up some of the plants and crushing a few.
