We can’t remember if we ever introduced you to Mom’s pool dog, Ruffus? Ru lives in the pool and doesn’t eat much or need walks. He just likes to float. Mom is closing the pool today for the winter, so Ruffus is going to be a flat dog for a while and live in a crate in the garage. Boy, I am glad that I am not a pool dog. I hate my crate. – Sofie Bear

My first dog was a border collie named Rufus!

Great name. Water Rufus is a ‘water collie,’ maybe.

I agree… but on the other hand such a hibernation sounds not bad… I just would prefer one with a stuffed and not flat belly :o)

Yes, a belly full of kibble, not air. BOL

Rufus is a cutie! I am surprised he doesn’t have “air holes” from doggie nails grabbing him. There’s a blow-up dog at Petco modeling a stress vest and I steer clear of him. I’m pretty sure he’s trying to kill me.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

No dogs are allowed in Mommy’s pool, so Rufus can swim away from us. If he was in the house, he would be deflated very quickly. Mommy has ‘ballonaphobia,’ so no ballonie type stuff can be in the house, making us safe.

I’m happy you’re not a pool dog either – that winter garage living doesn’t sound like too much fun!
