Monday Mischief: Light Up the Dogs

10 Dec

Being December, the fairy garden and Christmas dog are lit up under the DogDaz pines.

It gets dark around 4:30 PM here, so we get to enjoy the twinkling of the holiday lights for a long time in the evening.

The early darkness also means we are walking at a time when many cars are coming home for the evening and people are tired and speeding around the corners. Of course, everything I wear is black and so is Louise. To keep us safer during the walking time the girls wear lights around their necks (maybe I should too?). I definitely think you see Louise better with her glowing red collar, Sofie, not so much because she is blond and it is hidden in her fur.

Do you wear lights when walking in the dark? img_0079

Be safe out there. It’s a zoo!

Just another DogDaz morning at the zoo ❤

we have vests what glow in da dark… but it can be dangerous to wear them now… at the end the police thinks we are gilets jaunes and will arrest us BOL

Oh that is terrible. Maybe try a flashing collar instead. But then they may mistake you for xmas trees. That would at least be less political. BOL.

Fortunately, I don’t have to worry about walking Tippy in the dark. When I’m out all day, my mom and dad come up and take her for a couple of walks. When I get home, I just have to take her out for a potty break and right back inside. I don’t like it getting dark so early in the day. At least the days will start getting longer again in just a few days.
