We hope this is the last storm of the season, but you never know around here. They name snow storms now, and this one is called Petra. She came with several inches of snow, then a layer of ice, and then rain. It didn’t rain enough to wash it all away so we were stuck with muck. We don’t mind the snow, but the ice and the cold rain is yucky. Hurry up SPRING!

that Petra is a moody girl and we really hope it was the last hard storm and we hope mister march comes like a lamb not like a lion…

Petra did the same thing at my house. Snow, ice, rain. I was walking around slipping and sliding like a cartoon dog. And I told Mom, “NO. I will not poop on this ice.” She said that was not a choice. Turns out she was right and eventually, she got her way. But it was scary out there!
