Weedy Sea Dragon

The camouflage that weedy sea dragons use to hide in the temperate marine vegetation they derive their name from is so successful that once they reach adulthood they have no natural predators. Unfortunately they are still at risk due to habitat destruction. The males of the species carry the bright pink, fertilized eggs underneath their tails for about two months before the fully formed young hatch and are left to fend for themselves.
We have a stuffed Possum who lives with the wintering outdoor plants in the bathtub,
The other morning, I found him checking out the shower, so I moved him back to his plant.
Then in the middle of the night, he was wondering the hall.
He found his way to the dog kennels.
Sofie did not like the intruder
Then this morning he was ‘playing possum’ in the hall (they really do this so that you think they are dead).
Nine was not talking. (Possum? What Possum?)
But, it was becoming very clear who was helping Possum make this journey around the house.

Emperor Penguins, Antarctica

Emperor penguins are Olympian swimmers, capable of diving to 1,750 feet and remaining underwater 20 minutes on a single breath. “I was mesmerized by their beautiful bubble trails,” says Nicklen, who braved 28°F water to capture these images.
