Caturday: In the Pink
Noel’s skin is really pink. As she ages, 8 years old this month, she seems to be getting pinker. The hair pattern seems to be thinning on her face and I guess that is why I am noticing the change. I never had an all white cat before. I assume this is normal since the vet did not say anything a few weeks ago at her annual check up and it is not like she is having any skin issues. I love her soft pink nose. She is getting very cuddly now that Stella has gone to the cat monastery (the private cat room). Noel is now spending a great deal of time on my bed and actually sleeping with me, which she has never done in all these years. I guess now that she is not being bullied she is finding her sense of adventure.
I can not imagine a life without cats!

Black and White Sunday: Start of the HWW
Mini Cooper has discovered Noel’s sun spot in the kitchen herb window. Oh, this is going to be interesting as the spring heats up. I am sure that the big white Queen will show the lil’ sprite where her place is. State tune for Herb Window War (HWW). I will try to keep tally as the season progresses. Gosh is that kitten cute or what?

Caturday: The ManCAT of the House
My boy Nine is the only man left in the pride and he loves it. Preens himself like any king would. He is the sweetest and loves to head butt and drool on you. Funny how some cats are droolers. You always think that is the providence of the dogs, but not with this guy. Next thing I know he will be burping. Moew Out Loud (MOL)!!! He so reminds me of The Muffin Man (aka Muffy). Except Nine is gray instead of ginger.
Muffy, ruled the Zoo and owned even the most staunch anti-cat visitors. Search the blog for years of Muffin photos.

Wordless Wednesday: Besties
Louise is not really a cat cuddling dog. But that Mini Cooper! She can turn your heart in a second. I am just amazed how much Louise likes her and how close she lets her come. She doesn’t even like Sofie that close to her face. I am blown away by the magic spell that little cat has over all of us.

Monday Mischief: Mexican Standoff
Nine is not going to give up the tunnel to that pesty Mini Cooper. No way. It is his tunnel and he is not budging. This is what is called a ‘Mexican standoff.’ When neither side will give up its position to the other.
