Sofie and Louise patiently helping Mom put up the Halloween decorations on an absolutely, positively, purrrfect fall Sunday. Louise almost gets lost in all her darkness (she looks like a big black blob). Hard sometimes to see the blond and the black dogs in shadow balance. Hope your Sunday is a funday!

Mr. Nine on a gray rainy day. Hope you avoid Hurricane Joaquin coming up the eastern seaboard of the United States. We are getting way to much rain for our liking even without the Hurricane. This weather is good for cat naps but not much else.

Noel lives in the dining room, when not living in the kitchen. She is a foodie cat, I guess (she never says no to a good snack). She loves to roll under the dining room table. When I vacuum (which isn’t often enough as you probably can tell from the cat hair sticking up from the rug in the picture) the dining room rug is just a layer of white fur. I can not image why? Safe and secure, she is a wonderful girl with a great sense of humor. 8 1/2 years young and getting more social and vocal year after year. Love you, NoNo.

Stella, the princess, who has her own castle, is turning 4 today. As you know, for the last year she has not lived in the general population and everyone is much happier, especially her. She still gets into fights when her once much-loved brother Nine gets in her private room, or worse, that horrible kitten, Mini Cooper. The dogs don’t seem to bother her when they visit, but she has definitely decided that “No Cats Are Allowed” (except her).Photos by K8EE
