Monday Mischief: Nap Assistants
Hi, Sofie here. I noticed that Mom decided to lay down and take a nap. Always a good thing to do. And then I noticed that pesky, Charles, laying in my spot on the bed right next to Mom. The nerve of that Mugwump! I needed to do something about that immediately.
So I crawled up from the end of the bed and I got as close to Mom’s head as I could. No one is going to get closer to Mom than me.
Mom put a pillow between me and Charles because she knows that I would bite him if he got to close to her me. Smart Mom because it gave me something to put my head on.
I am the Queen of the bed. And I own the Mommy.
This is very comfortable, I think I will take a snooze too.
Oh, Louise was napping with us too. But she knew that Mom was covered with dog, so she took the guard position on the floor.

Black and White Sunday: They Call Me Mellow Yellow
Mom is M&M crazy. Her whole world is M&M things. She has a million machines and toys. Mom loves Blue the best. She thinks he is the coolest, but I love Yellow. Yellow is like me. I am yellow too. Have a great black and white Sunday!

Monday Mischief: Reading Buddy
Peanut has started working from home sometimes when she has a lot of heavy concentration type stuff, like reading long documents, to do. I decided that she should not do that alone. Plus she looks so sad if I don’t help her with all her pens and markers. Dogs are the best reading buddies. I know that Mini Cooper, that pesky cat, thinks that she is a better buddy but I tell her where to ‘get off’ whenever she tries to buddy up to my Peanut. You know what I mean?

Black and White Sunday: What Is Love?
Love is a funny thing: you can’t see it, you just feel it.
I love Louise and I am sure that Louise loves me. I know by the way she wakes me up in the morning and how she reacts when I come home from somewhere. It’s the way she looks at me with those brown eyes. It is how she relaxes when I am near. But is it love really or is it just that I am the caregiver and the food source? Personally, I want to believe it is love. Many scientists say it is just an attachment or bond to the owner. But I say if it is not love, then what thing is it?
