Caturday: Not So Innocent
They may look innocent, but this was just a moment between catfighting. I assume Nine started because he usually does. Mini will be calmly sleeping on the top platform, and big brother will come screaming up the sides and attack her. Mini does start sometimes, but usually, it’s him. Thankfully, blood is rarely shed with these two.
I cannot imagine a life without cats!

Caturday: Dynamics
I remember back when Mini Cooper would snuggle close to Nine no matter where he was. These days, this is as close as they get, and I was surprised to even find them sleeping near each other. It is interesting how as the cats have aged the dynamic has changed considerably. Mostly I find Mini with Noel on the bed. Nine tends to keep to himself, though they both are picking on poor Noel more and more. The other night Nine and Noel had a knockdown, drag-out, catfight at snack time. I am not liking this dynamic one bit.

This fall weather makes Nine a little extra feisty, but I actually think Mini started this one.

Monday Mischief: Quarantining Is Hard Stuff
Queen Noel, the Christmas Cat, here, posting on the current situation at DogDaz Zoo: The humans are in the house all day, every day, and taking up a great deal of our space and oxygen. Mini has decided that Mom’s chair is now her chair, but I want it! So I think I will just sit on her until she moves. Which she doesn’t. I think I may need to use force.
Mini and I have temporarily worked out our differences by having a tiff and then moving to the platforms of the cat village. There is currently a detent between us, at least until I want something she has (or vice versa).
All this quarantining is exhausting. I think I will move to the kitchen table and take a nap on the newpaper.
