When Mommy turns her back to feed the dogs, I am very quick to help myself to the dog food. Aren’t I good at it. I don’t think Mom liked the idea that I am self-sufficient.
Remember, cats can have dog food, but dogs should not have cat food. It contains too much fat, calories, and protein that can really upset their tummies and even cause pancreatitis.
Winter has come, so the plants needed to come in from outside. Nine thinks that is just great. New plaything: Let’s dig! Let’s scratch! If you look halfway up the trunk of the fig tree (ficus benjamina), you will see gnarls from cats-past who also found the fig tree a great scratching post during the winter. BTW, this fig tree is at least 25 years old.
There is a new monster in town for Halloween. They call him, King Tut. He is a mummy.
Well, he doesn’t scare me! I can sleep through anything (except dogs barking or people coming in the house that I don’t know or loud trucks outside or….) – Nine
I usually cover my bed with the horse blanket so that Noel does not shed all over my comforter (making nests of white fur which gets up my nose as I sleep). But she has only been lying on my pillows lately, so I was lazy and decided to only cover the top of the bed. As you can see, Noel wants to show me who the boss is. Meow Out Loud!!
