Wonderful Wednesday: The Obedient Plant
The funny thing about Physostegia Virginiana, The Obedient Plant, is that it is anything but obedient. If you are not careful, it will take over the whole garden; kind of like a house full of animals takes over the house. Have a beautiful fall day!!

DogDaz Zoo: Peanut Is Leaving The Nest
Peanut is moving out into her own place today. No more living with the parents. Though she has come and gone to college, and her year in Isreal, this is different. After 25 years, this time, she is finally fledging from the nest for good. She is doing a lot of cat hugging and dog cuddling, She mostly says she will miss Noel and her morning ritual with Mini Cooper.
Best of luck, Baby. The zoo will be here when you need cat and dog fur on your clothes.

Wonderful Wednesday: Mr. Contrary
I have to laugh how in sync the animals are. Sometimes even the cats lie on the floor with the dogs in the same positions. We get lots of mirroring around the zoo. Mr. Charles cracked me up on this day because Louise and Sofie were lying one way and he was lying the other way, busy, as usual, chewing on a toy. It reminded me of the old nursery rhyme:
Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells, and cockle shells,
And pretty maids all in a row.[1]

Wonderful Wednesday: Red Tail Hawk
As I drove up to the house after work this visitor alighted on my chimney. He clearly had a great deal to say.
Anyone speak red tail hawk?

Wonderful Wednesday: Summer Stroll
Taking a stroll on a warm morning. Everyone is happy to be walking. They don’t get to walk much as a pack since Mom went to work outside the house. Charlie is especially happy.
