Monday Mischief: Another Storm
Mom says that we are in for a week of ‘boom boom boom’ storms. It was hotter than hot for many many days and now all we get is rain and boomers. Louise and I don’t like boomers (Charles doesn’t seem to care much about them). They are loud and painful and they hurt my ears.
The DogDaz Zoo is that little blue dot in the middle of all those red storm blobs.
I’m wearing my thunder shirt but it doesn’t really help anymore. It used to help me years ago, but now it is just this too tight thing that Mom makes me wear. I am still scared. Maybe Peanut’s shoes will protect me?
Is that a little tiny bit of rainbow in the sky?
Mom put a shirt on Louise because she is also scared of storms (V thinks she caught the fear from me). Louise doesn’t have one of these fancy thunder shirts like I have so Mom found an old shirt in Peanut’s giveaway pile that seems to work really well. I am not sure if it helps her any more than my thunder shirt helps me, but….
She sure does look ‘super mega foxy awesome and hot!’

Monday Mischief: Nap Assistants
Hi, Sofie here. I noticed that Mom decided to lay down and take a nap. Always a good thing to do. And then I noticed that pesky, Charles, laying in my spot on the bed right next to Mom. The nerve of that Mugwump! I needed to do something about that immediately.
So I crawled up from the end of the bed and I got as close to Mom’s head as I could. No one is going to get closer to Mom than me.
Mom put a pillow between me and Charles because she knows that I would bite him if he got to close to her me. Smart Mom because it gave me something to put my head on.
I am the Queen of the bed. And I own the Mommy.
This is very comfortable, I think I will take a snooze too.
Oh, Louise was napping with us too. But she knew that Mom was covered with dog, so she took the guard position on the floor.

DogDaz Zoo: Happy 10th, Charles
Mr. Charles, the Mugwump, Little is 10 years young today. Though you have only been with us for 2 1/2 years, you have become an integral part of the Zoo. I still don’t understand how we are your 5th home – we are so glad that you rescued us and that you are with us forever and ever.

Caturday: Toy Time With Nine
Why is it that as soon as you turn on the video camera the cat stops playing? Believe me, he was going crazy on the toys a second ago with his hind legs. I mean it! Come on Nine, show the fans!
Yes, those are Xmas toys, but we don’t change out for seasons, we just keep adding toys until they lose their arms and heads.
