A cat’s life is just so purrfect. Sleep 18 to 20 hours of the day and eat or bathe the rest of the time. I have said it before and I will say it again, I want to come back as Noel.

CatWeek at the Zoo: Transfixed
The cats, at least Nine and Mini, have been moving the curtains and spending a great deal of time, looking out the back window.
I thought, how nice, they are watching the world go by.
And then only this morning did I realize that V put a new bird feeder in line of sight to the window and they were watching all the action going on there. Cat entertainment is a main focus of our existence.
I cannot imagine a life without cats!

Black and White Sunday: King of the Tree
Mr. Nine is on top of the world.
Well, actually, he is on top of the cat tree in the living room. Whoever is up there seems to take great pride in the position (for as long as it lasts). I don’t know where he got that scratch on this nose (it looks like a dot in this picture), but I assume it was from Mini Cooper. They were probably fighting over just this thing: Who gets to be king/queen of the tree? Here at the DogDazCats2 Zoo, watching the cats play ‘king of the hill’ is a constant form of amusement for the humans.
Nine is such a handsome guy. Love you, Niney!!!!

Monday Mischief: Nine and the Friendly Ghost
Nine appears to be having a conversation with the ghost that keeps the birds from hitting the big picture window. Does he see the ghost or is he looking right through him? Maybe their is a bird in the tree that he is staring at? All the cats like to sit and watch the birds. The whole reason we bought this house is because we feel like we are in a tree house in the living room with this big window. The big maple tree is right there and it gives the cats so much to watch (and us too). The wood peckers, juncos, sparrows, cardinals, titmice, yellow and house finch, and especially our little wrens, all love to amuse the cats. So many fun things to see out of a picture window.
