I belong to this group for Maryland Bird Watchers and one of the members. Wendy Luther Dickey, took this great shot this weekend.
She said “After several trips..to no avail..we finally got our Snowy…we saw 4 this weekend … but this was by FAR my favorite pic..I won’t torture you with my hundreds that I took ..this one was playing peek a boo with us.”

My great-grand niece Sydney Alexa and Boots. Sydney is now 8 months old, I think Boots is about 4. Now this is mischief in the making, for sure!

Monday Mischief: Make Up Your Mind, Louise!

I don’t know about you, but when the wind chill hit minus 13 fahrenheit, I was just not going for a long walk. But Louise was just not OK with that thought. I got all geared up and walked them around the yard to try to appease her, but she keep asking “when are we going for a walk, Mom?” Sofie however, did not want anything to do with the frigid temperatures outside. Louise most have gone in and out the door 100 times. So much so that the room dropped from it’s usually daily temperature of 62 to 59. (Yes, we keep the house really cold, but heat is expensive and we bundle up.)
I wonder what Nine and Sofie are discussing in the bottom shot? Any caption ideas ? Knowing Nine he is trying to convince Sofie to jam the door so that he can make a run for it outside. Little does he know how good 62 degrees feels.

Monday Mischief: Napping with Froggy
Mom got me a Gorilla and Sofie a Froggy for Xmas but I liked the Froggy better. Especially since Sofie and I ripped the Goriila’s arms off in like 2 seconds. Mom doesn’t usually buy us such expensive toys but these 2 nice ladies in the pet store were saying how much their dog loved these particular ones. They had sound boxes in them which were great for about 20 minutes and then they died (because I crushed them with my teeth). All the stuffing was gone in about 30 minutes after Sofie and I throw it all over the living room. I was really tired after ripping up all these new things that I need to take a nap with Froggy. I really like when I get all these new things to play with. – Louise

Monday Mischief: We’re Ready Santa Paws
The dogs were making room in their toy box for new things that they think Santa Paws will be bringing because they are such good puppies. They helped Mom clean out some of the older ripped toys. But they really did not want to let much go. Maybe there is room for one or two new things Santa Paws. We are ready for you.
And best of everything, we found a statue of Santa Paws in our neighbor’s yard talking to a deer.
May the spirit of Santa Paws be with you now and always.

Monday Mischief: Snowflakes on Lulu Belle
Mom thought that it might be cool to get pictures of us in the first snow. The only snow we see is the stuff on Lulu’s head. Oh, Mom!! We know, they really were big and fluffy flaky things, they just turned invisible in the photo. BOL

Monday Mischief: Mom’s First Walk Back
Mom got home late one night last week. She was really tired the next morning because she says she was on the other side of the world and that it was 13 hours ahead of our time. We don’t understand, but she said that yesterday, she actually got younger. How is that possible? Any way, we took her for an early morning walk to cheer her up. It was 20 degrees out. She said yesterday she was in 90 degrees and 90% humidity. We are not sure she liked this first walk very much. But we did!
