We know that we should prune the big tree because the branches are now over the house and hitting the picture window, but it has allowed such an incredible experience for the cats and us since birds are sitting right up at the window. Even squirrels come and look in on us and hop around at eyes view. We haven’t pruned it because the cost is so astronomical but we know we will have to soon. In the meanwhile, Mini is mesmerized.
I cannot imagine a life without cats!

Of all the animals at the DogDaz Zoo, Louise seems to be the one with the most patience.
She is so good at waiting;
- waiting for Mom to get out of bed;
- waiting for breakfast;
- waiting to go for a walk;
- waiting to go out in the yard;
- waiting for dinner;
- waiting for playtime;
- waiting for me to sit down…
She even has to wait when a human or another dog passes by on a walk (I make her sit and stay then as well).
Wow, I am just one mean Mom.
Ahhh, a dog’s life is full of waiting. Actually, though, I don’t think she minds very much.
She is a very patient soul.

How come cats are so cute when they sleep? I am sure that I am not so cute. I probably have drool on the side of my mouth and I snore. Cat snores are cute, human snores – no way! And they never wake up with a single hair out of place – that is just not fair.

Sofie says that Sunday’s are made for contemplation.
