This is one of my favorite pictures of Peanut with Socki. She was probably 10 years old, maybe 2005.
Aunt J’s Service Dog Socki was an incredible helper. Aunt J has MS. This was the first dog that we ever met that could do laundry and get things out of the refrigerator. Service dogs make life so much more manageable for people with differing abilities.
I noticed some scratches on Noel’s ear. She wasn’t complaining or licking or anything, but clearly, she got into a scuffle with either Nine or Mini. I am assuming Nine since he doesn’t like that she has started to go downstairs. She used to be downstairs a lot when she was younger but stopped venturing away from the kitchen/dining room area for many years. Now we are finding her in bedrooms and the laundry room and all her old haunts. Maybe she is having a second kittenhood. Nine is miffed since he owns everything, being the house Tom. Poor Noel. Good news is, she is too simple to care. I do love that about her.
