4.12.12 Sleeping On The Monster

12 Apr

What is it about dogs and vacuums?  Sofie attacked the dust buster this morning and almost ate my hand with it.  They just hate these noisy things.  Does it hurt their ears?  Should I try and teach them that it is OK or just give up on that one? Do they think that I am being devoured by a Dragon? Sofie is getting more and more brazen with her vacuum hose attacks. Lulu handles it very differently, she goes to sleep on the monster when it is quiet.  I think that is pretty brave of her, don’t you?

Just another DogDaz morning at our house ❤

Lulu, you CAN’T go to sleep on the monsters. They’ll wait until you doze off and then they’ll get you. They gang up in our house. There’s a monster called Dyson (what a silly name!) and there’s a monster that mumma calls HairDryer. Ugh. they both make me shudder. Sleep on Sophie or a pillow, but promise me no more napping on or near the monsters! love Beary xox

Beary – I don’t know why I chose to sleep in funny places. Dyson and Hairy are here too. They must have a big family. I will try to stay away. Thanks – Lulu Belle

We have one of the popular robot vacuum cleaners. It follows a random pattern as it goes around the house. My two Pointers are sure that it is following them. They give it a wide berth.

Hmm my sister’s Border Collie is terrified of the hoover, but we just presumed it was either a collie thing (they do have weird ‘things’!) or because she was abused by previous owners?

Funny how we all think it is a breed thing, but really, if I was on their level, I would be afraid of these noisy monsters too. Thanks for commenting. – DogDaz

I have always wondered about the dog vs noise monster relationship. It seems to be a mystery. Or maybe a love~hate thing? : )

My pup barks and attacks anything that sweeps the floor, even the dustpan and brush! I think it’s very brave of Lulu, so sweet!

Lulu is a brave girl! We hope the monster doesn’t wake up while she sleeps on it.
