“I’ve learned that waiting is the most difficult bit, and I want to get used to the feeling, knowing that you’re with me, even when you’re not by my side.”
― Paulo Coelho, Eleven Minutes
Sofie: “Lu, it has been days, where is she?”
Louise: “Sofie, now remember Mommy told us she will always come back for us no matter how far away she is.”
Sofie: “But, Lu…. (whine, whine, whine)… it is really hot out and I want to go swimming in the river and I want to take a long walk and I want Mommy to rub my tummy!…(whine, whine, whine)
Louise: “Mommy said that we should count the minutes until her return, so let’s start now” (in her most big sister voice.)
Sofie: “What’s a minute?”
Just another DogDaz morning at the zoo ❤

I yesterday saw my dog after a week and I honestly don’t know who was more excited. I know I was counting the seconds once my plane landed cuz I knew the dog was going to be at the airport.
Btw, I liked that book.

I am glad Doggy and you had a good reunion. We can’t wait until we are all together again too.

But you can’t count minutes as they go longer when your loved one is away and speed up when they are back! Pesky things!!!

I am sure that would make sense, if we knew what a minute was in the first place.

Girls – this is Mommy on Tuesday morning in Melbourne. I heard that Aunt E and V actually walked you last weekend. Luck you. I am watching from afar. Continue to behave and i will be home before you know it. ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

Just hang in there she will return soon. We think it would be better to not count those minutes. Time seems to pass faster if you are having fun so play, play, play and she will be home before you know it.

Great advice. We don’t really know what minutes are anyway.
