Sonya sent me an email with pictures and said that Louise and Sofie are doing fine staying in her care and with all their friends.
They seem to be having a relaxing time while I toil away in China working. Ahhh, it is a dog’s life for sure.
They all went on a walk in the woods which must have been fun.

Sonya said that Sofie has been busy each night protecting them from foxes (or possums or raccoons or something — that they can’t see) and from deer.
They have a foster, Dee Dee, in the red harness next to Louise in the bottom picture, that actually whines even more than Sofie!
Dee Dee really likes Sofie, Sonya said. She thinks it’s because Dee Dee used to live with a blonde Cairn terrier that Sonya just placed in a new home a few days after they come in to rescue.
That is Louise in the middle of the dalmatian pack. The back row is Oreo, Millie & Jolene. In front of Jolene is another black dog, Spunky and Sofie is under the chair on the right.
This sure made me smile a million miles away – Thanks Sonya for taking good care of my puppies.
Just another DogDaz morning at the zoo in China ❤

Yes it does. They may not want to come home, it will be too boring.

They look content. I’m sure it is great to see them doing fine but it would make me miss them even more.

It does – if you look closely you can see Sofie’s little eyes staring straight into my heart.

How nice, that the girls have a good time (sadly without their mom). And Sofie even protects them from invisible invaders, what are always moooost dangerous :o)

Yes – Sonya has lots of dogs, obviously, and she fosters and also takes care of my girls when I travel. She is an angel.

I love you, Sonya. When I had my knee replacement, I thought my amazing, incredible dog sitter was almost more important than my surgeon. And those pictures she sent kept me from losing my mind. Sonya rocks!

Yes Genevieve. Leaving our charges in good hands is so incredibly important. I know that V is so happy to not have to worry about them during the work day at home and I am so lucky to be able to see them enjoying comfy space and new friends. That is such a relief. – Lorian

I hope it is a fun place that your humans are going too and not a work place. I am sure they will virtually mind meld with you while gone
