Another great K8 cat capture, this time of Stella yawning. Stella is now living by herself in the cat room. It seems she was the cause of much upsetness for the other cats and for months the zoo was out of whack. She was beating up Noel and shredding Mini, and eventually we figured out that it was her that was peeing on our bed. She even started fighting with Nine. Once we gave her her own little world, everything got better for everyone. She is very happy to be in her private space and the other cats have calmed down (a Feliway mister is helping too). I have never seen her so happy. Cats are such territorial animals. Though I would like to believe that multicat/animal households are fine, most cats would probably prefer their own space. Actually, I think they are loners at heart and we make them community creatures by forcing them to exist in our world together (how human-centric of me!). Stella is doing great now that we figured out what was bothering her: she wants to be alone!
I want to give a shout out to Dr. Levitsky at Healing Paws, who helped us realize that the trouble was Stella and not Noel. We thought Noel, who was getting beat up, was the cat that maybe should be by herself, but it was actually the bully, Stella, not the bullied that needed the space.
So glad you are joining me today for the Dogs N PawzBlog Hop called Tuesday’s Tails! New posts go up on Tuesday but you can link up and post when you want all week-long. The whole purpose is to feature cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, etc. so when you link up is up to you! Even pets from PetFinder, are fine. Let’s just get them all homes!
Dogs N Pawz said “I also want to encourage all of you to share each other’s Tuesday’s Tails posts on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and whatever other social media channels you use. The more we share the more likely we are to get the word out!”

Miss Madge has been URGENT since MAY 2014 and still needs someone to help!!!
She is at a boarding kennel again after her foster moved and she is going nuts!!!
This is Madge, who we refer to as “Miracle Madge.” With the help of some awesome volunteers at literally the last minute, she was pulled in May from a Maryland shelter where her time was up. After meeting her in person, we were actually surprised she was given the time she was at her shelter. Though she’s sweet as pie, Madge looks like she’s been through hell and back in her short 3 year life. Through all of her nightmarish past, Madge stands strong and is just a delight to be around.
She’s got a gorgeous smile that’s so completely full of life, you can’t help but smile when you are around her.
She seriously enjoys the company of people and adores the attention she receives.
She can’t be with other animals.
She is not good with young children (that is why her most recent adoption fell through).
Please remember that all pets need loving homes. Foster or forever – you can help today. All of us at DogDaz Zoo Thank You! We rescued Mommy, maybe some animal can rescue you!!
This has to be one of the most magical ponies I have ever seen. I just want to put my arms around him. If you look closely, his left ear could be mistaken for a unicorn horn. – DogDaz
Louise is going insane. She keeps looking out the backdoor at the endlessly falling snow and won’t go out. So then she runs to the front door, figuring that it will be green and clear out that way and begs to go for a walk. Then when we suit up and step out, she realizes that it is just as bad as the back. Oh my! We are so ready for spring. Paw balm and coconut oil and towels and dog sweaters and rain coats and it is still terrible taking a walk. I make them walk in the snow because they start limping by the time we just get down the street. No outside mischief at the zoo for us, we must resort to chasing cats inside and playing hide and seek.
What mischief have you gotten into today?

This is a blog hop. I hopped it from MYBrownNewfies. Check them out for more mischief.
