Monday Mischief: Keep Your Cat Paws Off My Peep!

04 May

My Duckie MM 5.4.15Mini Cooper really likes when Louise plays with her squeaky yellow Peep.  So much so that she has crawled up really close from behind and actually tried to interact with Lu to get at it.  I couldn’t catch that picture because I was too busy watching that Lu didn’t take a bite out of the kitten.  Then Mini jumped up on the chair and tried from a different angle. The fact that Louise reached out and nudged her gently, nose to nose, blew me away. There is something special about Mini that the dogs really like.  Louise did lie on the peep and make sure that Mini understood it was hers though.  “It is my Peep, Mini Cooper!  Keep your cat paws off it!”

Oh, you were wondering where Sofie, the butt-in-ski, was during all this?  Right behind Louise.  But the energy made her anxious, so she was nibbling on the end of the dog bed as she does when she gets stressed.  I love Louise’s splayed out legs to guard her squeaker.  There is always mischief at the zoo.

Sofie Louise Peep

What mischief did you get into today?

That’s the best kind of mischief. The kind that doesn’t end in barking, screeching, and fur flying.

Very little fur flies at the zoo, but we do get a lot of barking.

We had a play time Sunday. Mom let us into the pool! We ran and ran and swam so much that Autumn wouldn’t jump on the bed and needed help getting up the stairs last night. Signed Edna.

Oh no Edna. She over did her first pool day. Sounds like a job for Cosaquin.

Well, Peep possession is 9/10ths of the law, I suppose!
