Wordless Wednesday: Almost In

19 Apr

Mom turned around and I was rolling very very close to the edge. “Oh Dog!” she said, “That could have ended badly.” This is the deep side of the point and I would have had to swim all the way around to get out of the river.

– Sofie, the Roller, Bear.

If I am not rolling in the picture, click on it, It’s a GIF.

A refreshing grass roll is supposed to be fun – not terrifying! Be careful, sweetie.

Fun for me. Mom is not always happy where I roll though.

I am sure Edna would be willing to give her swimming lessons.

Oh, Sofie is a good swimmer. My worry was that there is no way for her to get out unless she swims all the way around the point to get to the other side. 🙂

Glad Sofie didn’t have an unexpected Olympic sized swim. Sometimes, they panic if they don’t see a way out.

Absolutely Panic! Once Mom had to go into the river to get me out because I am too short to get up the bulkhead. The boat ramp is all the way around the other side of the peninsula, so it is scary far.

That could have had a wet ending.
