Fall has arrived, The pool is closed and the foliage is turning brown. The days are getting shorter and the weather is perfectly perfect. The Autumnal Equinox is upon us.
As the season’s change, I wonder how the environmental cues affect domestic animals. Since we live in an environment with artificial light, and heat, and cooling, how much of the seasonal changes really affect humans or pets? The dogs are absolutely friskier in the fall and the spring. I don’t know why, but they are. Sofie’s nose changes color between winter and summer (she has what is called Snow Nose- you can read about it here) and her coat gets darker too. Other than that, I don’t think they’re affected much.
How does the change of seasons affect you and your furbabies?
This is a Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop. Thanks to BlogPaws for the hop. Head over there and see what they are blogging about.

With the weather getting cooler, we start to seek out warmer napping spots…and we tend to sleep together more. When it’s hot in the summer, we rarely will sleep together. Too hot!

We understand about the too close, touchy thing. But Mini is always on Nine no matter what the temp.

I definitely sleep better at night because it’s much cooler! This summer was so hot I would wake up my humom in the middle of the night from my heavy panting!
