Mom took me on a special trip to visit Grammie in the nursing home.
I think she and I were both a little nervous at first since I had never seen a wheelchair before and the floors were slippery.
But once I got the hang of it, I only wanted to be in her lap.
Grammie was really happy to see me and I think that maybe I should visit her regularly from now on.
This trip wore me out, so I was kind of glad when Mom said it was time to go home. I slept all the way.
What kind of mischief did you get into today?

Now, that is sweet. Yes, go and see her regularly. You know, there are therapy dogs and cats doing visits in care homes, as the elderly (well, not all, of course) seem to enjoy the love a dog (or a cat) can give. And you seem to have adjusted quickly.
