Most people think Louise is black, but she isn’t totally. She is brown when the sun hits her fur.
She has always had these brown stripes under the black. Maybe she is secretly brindle? Anyway, she is just my dark chocolate sweetheart.

I’m with Phenny on chocolate!
My two kitty boys are black in some light and have a hint of Birman and tabbycat markings in other light. I think of them as being black kitties, though. Instead of brown, there is a hint of red in their fur. Like Louise, they are just pretty as heck, regardless of color they are just pretty as heck!
