We had so much fun on the river on an unseasonably warm November day. Mom says that Amy’s Mom told her that we should not chase the geese or ducks because they will lure us out into the middle of the river and gang up on us and drown us. Is that really true? They look so fun to go after. Oh well, we will just have to chase each other.

10:00 AM Eastern: I am editing my original post for today with a message for all our friends near and far, and especially those in Paris, France. The world continues to loose its mind and we are saddened by the inhumanity of people. We hope that all of you are safe today, wherever you are, and whatever your religious beliefs, political leanings, or social situation. There is no peace on earth when anyone is at war, enslaved, or being terrorized. This is not a perfect Sunday by any means, though it is quiet and calm at our home in Maryland. The smoke from 9/11/2001 at the Pentagon near by (and of course in my home state of New York) followed by a month of 2 Snipers in our area shooting innocents, still stings like it was only yesterday. We mourn the loss of life and the loss of our emotional innocents. Today we are all France. I pray that in my life time we will return to all being citizens of a safer world and can get back to kittens and puppies on the internet. – Lorian and the DogDaz Zoo (if they could speak human)

Everything a black and white Sunday should be.
We hope your’s is restful and sweet.
This is part of the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop. Thanks to Dachshund Nola and Sugar for hosting.
“And they who for their country die shall fill an honored grave, for glory lights the soldier’s tomb, and beauty weeps the brave.” – Joseph Rodman Drake
Thank you to my Dad, my uncles, and all the men and women I personally know who fought to keep me safe and free. And thank you to all the people today who continue to do so. – Lorian of DogDaz
I love the idea that you get what you reward. With Louise I am always anticipating every situation in the outside world so that she does not freak out, and with Sofie, it is just the opposite, I have to anticipate everything inside to keep her anxious OCD world manageable.
