Please Read: These Dog Treats Kill!
Ok everyone…THESE are among the chicken treats responsible for killing dogs or making them seriously ill. Vets everywhere are now warning everyone to stop giving your dogs these treats. They are slowly shutting down dog’s kidneys and it is because of something they have in them, still as yet UNKNOWN. The fact that they don’t know what the contaminant is, is why the FDA has not pulled these treats from stores. Do not buy ANY treats made in China, as that is where these contaminated, poisonous products are coming from.The FDA has received over 600 complaints on these….other brands are Canyon Creek Ranch and DOGSWELL. Anyone feeding their dog chicken treats needs to look at the package carefully as the words “Made in China” can be very small… do not be fooled by the phrase “An American Company” they are using in large print!

It's time to go 'nite nite'
It’s time to go “nite- nite,” but where is Sofie? Louise is already in bed fast asleep. Sofie is hiding (or so she thinks) under the curtains. She was actually in her kennel a moment ago, but I turned around to do something and she decided to go hide. It is not that she does not like her Kennel, it is all about being able to decide whether she is going to do what she is told. Ah, the endless power struggles with this little one. Finally, I actually got her on her feet and gave her no option, so she reluctantly went in. We go through this almost every night lately. I do find it funny because it reminds me of when the kids were little and they would say, “Just one more story, or one more song! PLEASEEEEEEE!”
Mommy won't see me if I hide under the bedroom curtain. I am so smart!
I can hear Lil’ Sofie in my head saying “Do i really have to go “Nite-Nite” Mom? Could you leave the curtain up just a little so that I can make sure you are still near by? Could you turn on the TV so I can hear some music? Can I have another drink of water? Lulu is such a goodie-goodie – I want to play some more! Please, Please, Please… “ You have to love these little ones because they are such a joy.

3.24.12 Is it a fish or a carrot?
Can someone explain how you turn a plan old carrot into a fish? This kind of food carving amazes me. I mean really, look at the detail. I took this home from dinner at my favorite Chinese place to eat, Grace’s Fortune. I like carrots. This actually must have been a very very big carrot based on the center part of the fish. The dogs like carrots, sort of. They always want them when I am eating them, but later on I find little shredded pieces all around the house. Actually Sofie likes them. Louise just makes like she is eating it and then stuffs it under a piece of furniture for me to find later in the week. I once tried to make a penguin out of an eggplant…. no don’t even ask how it turned out. Just another dogdaz morning at the zoo ❤
